WESTERN COLORADO PIPE TRADES
Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee

Western Colorado Pipe Trades JATC has a 5-year apprentice program developed to teach plumbing, pipefitting, refrigeration, welding and service to our apprentices and journeymen. Our job is to train and certify apprentices for the signatory contractors of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #145. We have a state of the art training facility, which was built strictly for the purpose of training apprentices.

Our program is registered and accredited with the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing & Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada, the U.S. Department of Labor, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and Emily Griffith Opportunity Schools.

Our apprentices must complete 850 O.J.T. (on the job training) hours each semester and 123 related classroom hours each semester to complete the semester and receive their next pay raise (5%). Apprentices will attend class for 31 Saturdays from September thru June.
